The best way to store firewood outdoors is off the ground and protected from direct rain, while still allowing airflow.

A good firewood storage setup should:

• Keep wood elevated off the ground
• Allow air to circulate around the timber
• Provide some protection from rain

Open firewood storage racks or purpose-built wood storage units work well because they allow the wood to continue drying while keeping it organised and ready for use.

Dry hardwood firewood will burn hotter, cleaner and produce less smoke.

Our fire pits are designed in Australia and manufactured from high-quality steel by trusted fabrication partners. Each design is carefully developed to balance durability, performance and timeless outdoor style.

Before reaching our customers, every fire pit is inspected to ensure it meets our standards for strength, finish and build quality.

Fire pits should always be placed on a stable, non-combustible surface.

Suitable surfaces include:

  • Pavers
  • Compacted gravel
  • Stone
  • Heat proof surface

Avoid placing the fire pit directly on timber decking, grass or other flammable surfaces.

Many customers create a small dedicated fire pit area using gravel or stone, which also helps define a beautiful gathering space in the backyard.
